What is Bulgarian Youth Association?
Bulgarian Youth Association is a youth non-profit/non-governmental organization established in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 2014. The association goals imply the following actions: a) support the active involvement of young people in various areas of public life, b) promote personal development and democratic citizenship, volunteering activities and youth mobility. It had an approved youth exchange project which was successfully held in Nessebar, Bulgaria in June 2016, organized with 6 different partners. It has sent more than 250 young people from Bulgaria in the context of the Erasmus + programme. The association got a license to be the only one representative of the foundation “MasterPeace,” that is fastest growing peace movement in the world, with the ambition to mobilize at least 400,000 new peace builders by 2020. On 21st September it organises the “International Day of Peace,” including informational campaigns and artistic activities with the other coordinators of “MasterPeace.”
The Bulgarian Youth Association will play a key role in the project, being an organization specialized in the promotion of youth involvement and participation. It will thus facilitate communication and relationship between young citizens and young administrators. It will organise the sixth event of the project, that will involve many indirect participants. The event will occur in correspondence with the “International Day of Peace” organised by the partner, guaranteeing a wider impact of the project. results. The partner will actively involve Bulgarian youngsters in the project activities and deliver its best practices and initiatives for youth involvement. It will manage flows of participants, preparation of the participants and their travel plan and tasks. In cooperation with the other project partners, it will be committed to actively promote the project through social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
